The classic tuxedo is black, single breasted with shawl or lapel collar but nowadays the double breasted version is just as popular along with coloured versions which are reserved mainly for the show business and entertainers.

The tuxedo comes with trousers of the same fabric as the jacket, it can be either simple or pleated in the front and has a silk or satin band on both sides. Other accessories are the usual silk vest or cummberbund belt, the bow-tie, patent shoes, tuxedo shirt and fancy cufflinks.
